“Boats are my passion. As a child I wanted nothing more than being on the water, or looking at other boats in the harbor. Because the world looks more beautiful in my eyes from the water.”

During a fair in 2017 I saw the Hermes Speedster for the first time. My eye fell on the vintage design, the lines, the details. Everything was right. I studied for a designer. How something looks is important to me, and what I saw pleased me. Right from the moment I left, a big smile appeared on my face. This was so different from what I was used to. This was not just a boat. Sporty and stylish, striking and yet subtle. I felt James Bond and James Dean at the same time. A man of the world. And that feeling also wants to convey to others.

I visited architect Nicolas at the shipyard and for me it was clear: the Hermes Speedster would become part of Nicks Boats. I made plans to put the boat on the market and with a small team we are now working hard on conquering Europe.”
