Botter hiring Harderwijk has been specialized for more than 17 years in extensive packages for a fun day out with over 3000 customers per year. At one of the most beautiful spots in the Netherlands, from the old fishing port of Harderwijk on the former Zuiderzee, we sail along uninhabited islands on the Veluwemeer. unlimited enjoyment while getting a bite to eat and a drink! Take a look at our packages for more relaxing activities and combine sailing with other packages such as a delicious BBQ or fish smoking on an island. How does it work

You and your guests will be welcomed by our skippers in the old fishing port of Harderwijk. Once on board, there will be a delicious freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea for everyone. The old-fashioned cinnamon cake should not be missing! You can also meet the skipper and his mate.

When everyone has found a place, we can set sail to choose the open sea. After hoisting the sails, we will serve a skipper's drink, we also provide: bread with herb butter and tapenade, cheese / sausage platter and a fish platter consisting of, among other things, Dutch herring, sour and rye bread.

Botter sailing with guided city walk

Upon arrival you can enjoy coffee or tea and a treat. The city walk is led by a guide and sailing on the botter with a snack and drink, such as: herring bites with a skipper's drink where you can enjoy unlimited drinks during the entire package. Craftsmanship

In 1918 down the slope of Janus Kok and during the war in the harbor of Urk

The history of the EH 32 (now the HK 98) begins in 1918, when it slides down the slope of Janus Kok in Huizen on the order of the Schaap fish smokehouse with registration number HZ 79. This yard manager is famous all along the Zuiderzee for his craftsmanship. Including sail and fishing gear, a botter, shining with the harp, costs almost three thousand guilders. In 1942 Jan - van Oene - Edelenbosch buys the botter, and goes out of the sea with his brothers Hendrik and Albrecht from Enkhuizen. However, with the closure of the Zuiderzee in 1932, the salty fish was over.
